Are you looking to grow your career in Finance? Do you want to join a dynamic team with a proven track record of internal growth and career advancement opportunities? We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Sales Finance Lead to join our New Zealand Finance team, based in Newmarket.

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Partner with the NZ MD to develop the annual plans to deliver the targets for the year
- Ensure accurate trade spend management
- Analyse monthly financial performance being clear on variances to forecast and budget
- Implement strong and clear process in NZ in line with broader ANZ with clear responsibilities across Sales, Sales Finance, Category Finance, RGM, Controlling and GBS
- Drive the cost optimization and KPI of merchandisers and 3rd party sales force
- Accurate forecasting across clusters. Ensuring accurate forecasting of trade spend and working with RGM on delivering the expected RGM plans
- Direct, develop and approve sales and co-op strategies and tactics for the Retail, Food Service and Exports business
- Work with Heads of Customers to understand key P&L levers and drive improved performance
- Develop and implement an optimal Go to Market strategy for the Route business
- Drive sales plans through the sales team and develop and oversee the implementation of pricing and credit policies and terms of business
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of the company at industry level on major accounts
- Drive a growth and business development culture and develop a robust NPD pipeline tailored to channels
- Drive category management and sales plans through retail sales team
- Review, analyze and approve BU sales budgets and forecasts and recommend activities to ensure the achievement of volume, sales and profit targets
- Guide and support the sales team, and develop a high-performance culture
What you'll bring:
- Strong business partnering skills including demonstrated experience at senior stakeholder levels
- Deep grasp of commercial fundamentals in CPG/FMCG environment
- Strong understanding of trade spend management and accruals
- Tertiary qualification in accounting / finance
- CA/CPA or equivalent
- 8yrs+ of experience in commercial finance and/or FP&A
- Experience in FMCG companies at a senior level
- Experience in working in environment dealing with large retailers
