What You'll Do:
You'll serve as an embedded talent partner to innovate, build and execute on talent strategy. You'll harness data, AI‑enabled tools and systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday) to focus on high‑impact initiatives—spending less time on transactional tasks, and deliver on strategic talent initiatives, and executive-level partnership with the business, such as sourcing and go-to-market strategies.
Where You'll Work
This position requires on-site presence three days a week in our San Francisco or Palo Alto Offices
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Partnership & Planning
- Act as a Strategic Partner to business leaders, leveraging data/analytics to innovate and shape hiring strategies that align with both short‑term needs and long‑term business goals
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
- Champion an exceptional and engaging candidate and hiring manager experience across all stages—from sourcing to offer and onboarding.
- Amplify employer brand through strategic messaging across social media, networks, and events
Data-Driven Talent Insights
- Identify and develop key external market insights such as industry, talent and competitive trends that will inform talent strategy
AI-Enabled Process Optimization
- Continuously improve tools usage (e.g., automation, AI workflows in Greenhouse, Workday, etc.) to streamline talent workflows, reduce/eliminate manual/administrative tasks, and elevate talent acquisition capabilities
- Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and innovation in hiring
Cross-Functional Enablement
- Partner across the People Team and Cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout hiring process
Who You Are
- Experience: 8+ years as a strategic talent acquisition partner; life sciences industry experience is required.
- Partnering Skills: Demonstrated success partnering with senior leadership on strategic hiring solutions, talent mapping, and process optimization.
- Systems & AI Savvy: Deep expertise with cutting edge, innovative ATS and learning agility and curiosity for applying AI or automation tools to elevate talent workflows
- Analytical & Tech‑Fluent: Advanced data intuition with proven skills in reporting, dashboards, talent analytics, and influencing business insights.
- Market Intelligence: Strong grasp of competitive hiring landscapes and ability to translate trends into actionable strategies.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional communicator with credibility at all levels and ability to drive consensus and strategic action.
