The Math Studio is seeking mathematically-minded individuals with an interest in teaching or part-time tutoring.Job Description
The primary task is to assist and promote active learning for Math Studio students. Tutors may also be expected to assist with exam proctoring and other academic duties.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide tutoring to students in algebra courses.
- Assist instructors in performance of their duties
- Assist with proctoring as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Reports to: Academic Lab Manager, Math Studio
Qualifications
Required: A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM discipline is required. A criminal background check will be conducted.
Preferred: Experience tutoring is preferred.

- Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
- Communication - able to effectively communicate in a professional, diplomatic, empathetic, and tactful manner using preferred method and level as applicable to the job.
- Relationship Management - able to personally provide high level of interactive service to others, building relationships and addressing identified needs.
