Job Description

At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections,  where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

Our Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability (#IP2TIS) offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making a positive impact on the world.

Are you ready to join a global network spanning 20+ countries, where bright minds collaborate to tackle real-world challenges in Innovation & Sustainability? Do you want to work on impactful projects, shape the future, and drive change from within?

As an intern, you will contribute to the development of an integrated Talent-to-Hire Funnel Cockpit for the Young Talent audience at Roche in Switzerland. The project aims to bring together existing data and KPIs from areas such as reputation, vocational training, employer branding, early in career, and recruiting into one meaningful dashboard. Within your first 3 months, you are expected to help create an overview of available data and relevant KPIs, prioritize key metrics across funnel phases, support cross-functional KPI harmonization, and develop an initial dashboard prototype. Your work will help make the effectiveness of each funnel stage measurable, identify opportunities for improvement, and strengthen data-driven collaboration across functions. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain insight into the candidate journey at Roche and explore how different business areas work together.

The Opportunity

  • Collect and structure existing data sources and metrics across the Young Talent funnel

  • Formulate and prioritize relevant KPIs for each funnel phase

  • Develop a conceptual design for the Roche Young Talent Funnel Cockpit

  • Visualize key metrics, conversion rates, and funnel transitions in a clear and actionable way

  • Create a cross-functional data dictionary for central KPIs, including measurement logic, data sources, frequency, and ownership

  • Support the harmonization of KPIs across different departments

  • Develop a simple proof of concept, for example in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau

  • Consider different target groups in the dashboard, such as interns, students, postdocs, or graduates, and design suitable filter logic

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Computer Science, Informatics, Business Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Analytics within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months.

Furthermore you are

  • Highly proficient in Power BI or Tableau and have advanced Excel skills

  • Ideally also familiar with SQL, Python, or Snowflake

  • A structured thinker who enjoys turning data into clear decision-making logic

  • Strong in stakeholder communication and comfortable collaborating across functions

  • Fluent in German; English is a plus

If you meet most but not all qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.

Additional information

The internship is expected to start between 1 and 16 July 2026 and will last at least 3 months.
