Job Description

Job Purpose:
Banijay Americas seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Participations team. Primary responsibilities will include monthly reporting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, annual budgeting and analysis of multiple business units and providing senior management with timely and insightful financial information to manage the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze participation statements ensuring calculations agree to contractual terms.
  • Review residuals payment schedules for accuracy and instruct the residual payroll company of any needed revisions.
  • Gather and review contracts, production cost reports, and other documentation to support reporting of participations and residuals.
  • Assist in audits as they arise.
  • Assist in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of previous participations or residuals experience.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict contractual deadlines.
  • Must have excellent communication skills to interact professionally with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred).

Position Compensation:
At Banijay Americas, we understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits program and offer a competitive package including paid time off and 401k plan, with a salary of $75,000-$85,000 for this position depending on experience.
