Job Summary
The Associate Business Analyst (Graduate) is responsible for gathering, analysis, and validation of business requirements for digital products and technology initiatives under the Empower@client's program. The incumbent will perform stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation of user requirements under the guidance of senior business analysts, product managers, and technical leads. This role provides graduates with practical experience in business analysis, Agile product delivery, and stakeholder engagement while contributing to the successful delivery of technology solutions. She/he will work closely with the Project Manager, Product Manager, Platform Lead, developers, testers, and business stakeholders and will report to the designated senior International Staff and/or senior National Staff.Job Description

This position will be full-time and hybrid in Mandaluyong City.
What You'll Do
Organize meetings and collaborate with product managers to determine product scope, vision, and roadmap
Write user stories, epics, releases as well as their characteristics
Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
Communicate, confirm, present requirements/application change requests to product team for work estimation/sizing
Work with stakeholders and product team to prioritize collected requirements under the product backlog
Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
Define product features according to business needs. Take charge of user requirement analysis for product design by co-working with the technical team
Manage and prioritize product backlog items. Optimize pipeline release plan based on the delivery to ensure maximum client requirements are met
Assist the product development team in meeting the objectives of each sprint/release cycle
Participate in post-go-live maintenance service plan, in-house or managed service, for new products in coordination with the technical team
Coordinate with the ITD technical support areas to ensure correct and efficient operations of assigned application systems. Respond to and resolve major and critical incidents swiftly
Ensure that clients and stakeholders are informed of the status of the product. Regularly submit reports on progress status, including problems encountered, root cause analysis, and resource requirements of assigned product/application systems. Operational Management
Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards. Perform effort estimation using INVEST (Independent, Negotiable Valuable, Estimable, Sized appropriately, and Testable)
Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
Develop and conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted
Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicate these back to the business stakeholders
Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary
Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements – verbally or through written documentation – to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood
Ensure completion of proper documentations necessary to deploy applications/products
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline
Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis, project coordination, software development, quality assurance, or a related field
Internship, academic project, or practical experience in requirements gathering, business process documentation, or digital solutions development is an advantage
Basic understanding of business analysis concepts, including requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, and process mapping
Exposure to software development projects or digital transformation initiatives is desirable
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is an advantage
Exposure to enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar business applications is desirable but not required
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business processes in a collaborative environment
Basic understanding of business analysis principles, techniques, and best practices
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
Basic knowledge of business process modeling and documentation techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms is an advantage
Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot, or other low-code/no-code platforms is desirable
Basic awareness of ServiceNow Platform or similar enterprise service management platforms is an advantage
Willingness to learn emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI (GenAI), automation, and process improvement tools
