DESCRIPTION:
As a Product Marketing Specialist II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to market growth and product success while supporting our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you will develop and execute marketing strategies, manage product launches, and create impactful content that connects with our scientific customers. Working with cross-functional teams, you will analyze market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and identify opportunities to expand our market presence. You will serve as a key liaison between global marketing initiatives and regional implementation, ensuring our products and messages effectively reach our customers across diverse markets. This position combines scientific expertise with marketing acumen to create meaningful impact in the life sciences industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in product marketing or related role within life sciences industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Marketing, or related field
• Additional certifications in Marketing or Digital Marketing beneficial
• Demonstrated expertise in market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with content management systems and digital marketing platforms
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Collaborative skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Self-directed with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of scientific terminology and laboratory techniques
• Proficiency in HTML and digital design software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign) preferred
• Business-level English required; additional language skills valuable
• Travel up to 25% as needed
