🍳 Now Hiring: Full-Time Cook (AM Shift)

💵 Starting Wage: $20–$23/hour

We’re looking for a dependable, motivated Cook to lead our kitchen during morning shifts and help create delicious, nutritious meals in a supportive healthcare environment.
👩🍳 What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in large quantities
- Follow menus, recipes, and portion control guidelines
- Accurately prepare special and therapeutic diets (including pureed foods)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen at all times
- Record food temperatures and ensure food safety compliance
- Assist with meal service and presentation to residents
- Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor
- Support and train dietary staff as needed
- Work collaboratively with all departments to support resident care
✅ What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of cooking experience (healthcare or long-term care preferred)
- Ability to follow recipes and technical procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic math skills for measurements and portions
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
📜 Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a ServSafe Certification
- Knowledge of PCC (preferred)
- Must remain in good standing with the Department of Public Health
💪 Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and kitchen activity
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, hands-on environment
