argenx is a global immunology company developing therapies for individuals living with autoimmune diseases. argenx is building a world-class portfolio of biologics in both early and late stages of development. VYVGART Hytrulo (efgartigimod), FDA approved for generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG) and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) and is being evaluated for additional indications including autoimmune myositis.

The Associate Director, US HCP Marketing will play an instrumental role in HCP marketing strategy and execution to support the upcoming VYVGART Hytrulo launch in autoimmune myositis. This is a high-impact role on a fast-paced and dynamic program.

This role will report to the Senior Director of US HCP Marketing, Rheumatology Lead, and will partner closely with key internal cross-functional partners and external agencies to plan and implement personal and non-personal tactics to support autoimmune myositis. In close collaboration with the rest of the HCP Community, this role will support the VYVGART Hytrulo brand strategies with pull-through to Commercial Field Team, KOL engagement, and National and Regional Congress presence and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of disease state education and branded positioning, campaign, and messaging across personal and non-personal channels
  • Develop and lead media strategy to drive unbranded and branded engagement across digital and non-personal channels
  • Execute HCP Advisory Board and Market Research planning and execution to generate and synthesize relevant customer insights to inform message and tactical evolution
  • Define, monitor, and evolve KPIs to assess performance and guide strategic adjustments
  • Execute multiple, simultaneous projects and manage resources to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and address business objectives
  • Engagement with key agency partners, including AOR, P2P, Media in the development and execution of market development and branded campaigns and tactics
  • Represent argenx at industry conferences and build relationships with key opinion leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate and co-create with multiple functional groups within the organization to effectively navigate the promotional review process, prioritize and ensure timely and compliant development of HCP-directed tactics

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • The US commercial organization is Boston-based; this person must be in the office as needed to support key planning and coordination meetings
  • BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA is a plus
  • 8–10 years of experience in marketing and/or relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Experience effectively managing external agency partners, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to effectively implement strategies and programs
  • Agility, proven ability to influence without authority and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to achieve positive results. Entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mentality, willingness to roll up sleeves and flexibility to jump in where the business needs dictate
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
  • Strong project management, communication, and organization skills
  • Experience in rheumatology preferred
  • US launch readiness experience preferred
  • Travel approximately 30%

For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $168,000.00 - $231,000.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies. It also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to retirement savings plans, health benefits and other benefits subject to the terms of the applicable plans and program guidelines.
