This frontline role focuses on delivering high‑quality assessment, safeguarding and care planning work for children in need, children looked after, care leavers and those requiring protection. Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver social work assessments and interventions for children in need, children looked after, care leavers and those requiring safeguarding.
- Develop and review holistic care plans that place the child’s voice and rights at the centre.
- Assess and manage risk, escalating concerns and using statutory powers where required
- Maintain clear, accurate and analytical case records in line with legislation and best practice.
- Communicate effectively with children, families and professionals, including in highly sensitive situations.
For this role you will need
- Social Work qualification (Degree, Diploma or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment and statutory social work practice.
- Experience delivering social work services to children, young people, families and carers.
- Ability to analyse complex information and produce high‑quality written reports.
