Job Description:

Magna Seating, one of the world's leading automotive suppliers, is looking for a Junior Controller for the newly established Controlling Shared Services Center. The person in this position will be responsible for supporting controlling activities in various business areas, collaborating with financial teams, and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Participating in projects aimed at improving financial processes and reporting.
• Performing month-end close process for a manufacturing entities
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with reporting controls and standards: SOX, internal policies, accounting standards.
• Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reports and journal entries.
• Monitoring completion of close and post-close activities with emphasis on timeliness and quality.
• Reviewing flow of processes and identifying areas for improvements and enhancements.
• Propose and support implementation of routine tasks in controlling

Requirements:

• A university degree in finance, economics, or related fields.
• Professional experience in finance or controlling will be an additional asset.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/US-GAAP) will be an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of SAP (FI/CO), BI will be an additional asset.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written
• Analytical thinking skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Independence, responsibility, and good organization of work.
