- Explore and leverage both existing and new data sources to improve the quality and depth of capital reporting
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize analytical processes and streamline reporting workflows
- Deliver high-quality, accurate, and well-documented analytical work with limited guidance
Scope & Influence:
- Supports one or more capital reporting and analytics projects, with potential to influence cross-team decisions

Suggested Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a related field
- Solid SQL proficiency and experience with QuickSuite/dashboard tools, data structure and internal Amazon systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business insights
A day in the life
Your morning starts by reviewing capital dashboards for anomalies and triaging any data issues before stakeholders begin their day. From there, you're in SQL — pulling diagnostic analyses, isolating spend trends, and identifying the why behind capital allocation shifts across the Operations network.
Midday brings collaboration: walking partners through a new reporting view, aligning on recommendations, and refining dashboards based on leader feedback. You're not just presenting data — you're shaping how insights land for audiences from program managers to VPs.
Afternoons are for building. You're developing automated reporting workflows, exploring new data sources, and documenting your work so others can maintain it. Before signing off, you're prepping for the next leadership readout — making sure the analysis is tight and the story is clear.
