About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical capabilities, particularly in cloud development technologies.
The Work:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards. - Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure software is updated with the latest features and security patches.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing systems.
Here's what you need:
- 14 years as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineer, or a related field; 4 years of relevant experience can substitute for a Bachelor’s degree
Bonus points if you have:
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)
- Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Hadoop, ElasticSearch and MongoDB
- Experience with Big Data technologies, such as MapReduce
Security Clearance:
- Must have a TS/SCI with polygraph

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
