About the Opportunity


In this role, you take ownership of creating, maintaining, and improving master data across Material, Customer, Vendor, and Employee domains in SAP. You help ensure data accuracy, support governance activities, and collaborate with business partners to uphold high-quality global data standards. Your work strengthens our operational excellence and contributes directly to data-driven decision-making across QIAGEN.

 

Your tasks include

  • Creating and maintaining Material, Customer, Vendor, and Employee Master Data in SAP.
  • Executing master data creation and changes in SAP and related systems within agreed timelines via workflow triggers.
  • Ensuring data accuracy through validation, extraction, and comparison across systems.
  • Preparing maintenance rules and reports for the data governance board.
  • Supporting standardization efforts and rule definition aligned with business requirements.
  • Reviewing data completeness and actively following up on missing information.
  • Communicating with business stakeholders and providing support on master data–related concerns.

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree holder.
  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of business processes in a manufacturing or trading environment, including industry terms and definitions.
  • Experience with SAP, particularly manufacturing master data (e.g., Bill of Materials, Routing); MDG knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint-based workflow tools is a plus.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling you to engage stakeholders at various organizational levels.
