Locations: London, Frankfurt, Zurich, Vienna (Hybrid Working)
Department: Data Solutions & Asset Servicing Sales

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join FIS at a time of strong momentum across Data Solutions, Payments, Liquidity Monitoring, and Asset Servicing in Europe.

We are seeking a German‑speaking Senior Sales Executive to grow our footprint across the DACH region, working with leading banks, custodians, asset managers, and institutional investors who are modernising their middle‑ and back‑office operations. You will become part of a high‑performing, collaborative sales team that values partnership, shared success, and long‑term client relationships. This is not a lone‑wolf role you will work closely with experienced peers, pre‑sales specialists, product leaders, and delivery teams who are deeply committed to winning together. In this role, you will work with banks, custodians, asset managers, and institutional investors who are under increasing pressure to reduce operational risk, improve intraday visibility, and modernise fragmented middle‑ and back‑office processes.

What You Will Do

  • Drive new client acquisition across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, selling FIS Data Solutions spanning:
    • Reconciliation and breaks management
    • Payments investigation and exception resolution
    • Intraday liquidity and cash monitoring
    • Asset servicing and post‑trade data controls
  • Build and execute a targeted DACH pipeline within banks, custodians, asset managers, fund administrators, and buy‑side institutions.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements, uncovering operational pain points such as:
    • Payment delays and investigation backlogs
    • Limited real‑time liquidity visibility
    • High‑volume reconciliation breaks and data inconsistencies
    • Operational risk exposure driven by manual processes
  • Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification through solution design, commercial negotiation, and close.
  • Partner closely with product, pre‑sales, and delivery teams to craft tailored, outcome‑based solution proposals aligned to client transformation goals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM forecasting, contribute to regional strategy, and shape go‑to‑market priorities for Data Solutions in DACH.
  • Stay current on regional regulatory and market drivers impacting data, payments, and asset servicing operations (e.g. BaFin expectations, AIFMD, intraday liquidity controls, operational resilience).

What You’ll Bring

  • German (Fluent or business‑proficient) and English language skills.
  • Proven success selling fintech, data, or investment operations solutions into banks or buy‑side firms.
  • Good domain understanding of: Reconciliation and breaks management, Payments processing and investigations, Liquidity and cash monitoring, Asset servicing and post‑trade operations
  • A natural consultative sales style with the ability to build credibility with senior operational and technology leaders.
  • Experience navigating long, multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • A team‑oriented mindset — you value collaboration, knowledge‑sharing, and collective success.

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a well‑established, respected market leader in data‑driven investment operations and asset servicing.
  • Join a collaborative, supportive sales organisation where people genuinely work together to win and grow.
  • Sell solutions that are mission‑critical to clients and deeply embedded in their operating models.
  • Benefit from clear career progression, exposure to senior leadership, and opportunities to grow your scope over time — whether deeper into complex enterprise sales or broader regional leadership.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and bonus structure
  • Attractive benefits package
  • A modern, international team culture
  • Ongoing professional education and development opportunities
