WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
The Senior Financial Data Analyst in the Data Management team at SimCorp, is responsible for delivering high-quality market and reference data for global clients across asset classes such as Equities, Funds, Fixed Income, and OTC Derivatives, in line with agreed service levels. With typically 4–6 years of experience, the role focuses on analyzing and validating financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability, while supporting informed business decisions. The Senior Financial Data Analyst collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and support teams to ensure effective data integration, issue resolution, and reporting, and contributes to improving data processes and controls to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Execute end-to-end financial data delivery activities, including pricing and reference data maintenance, in line with agreed SLAs
Perform advanced data quality checks and conduct initial analysis when unexpected data behavior is identified
Analyze complex data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve data quality and controls
Proactively contributes to continuous improvement of operational processes, with a focus on manual processes and higher-risk areas
Maintain accurate documentation of business processes, operational procedures, and functional guidelines
Collaborate with global Data Operations teams to share knowledge, ensure consistency, and avoid knowledge gaps
Support and follow up on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and coordination with stakeholders
Support client onboarding activities by assisting with data setup, validation, and readiness checks
Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on daily activities and supporting their professional development
