Title:

Area Maintenance Manager – MFC (Cracker)

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead all maintenance activities for the **Mixed Feed Cracker (MFC)/Steam Cracker** area, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations in accordance with Company standards.
  • Manage mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment maintenance for Cracker units, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance.
  • Ensure effective execution and reporting of maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
  • Support Planning & Scheduling and Reliability teams in maintenance optimization, bad actor analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Lead maintenance planning and execution during turnarounds, major shutdowns, and emergency maintenance.
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance teams and contractors while ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance reports and participate in maintenance review meetings.
  • Develop team capability through technical coaching and job-specific training in coordination with HR.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance – Diploma.
  • • Minimum 20 years' experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance – High School.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance – Bachelor Degree.
  • Saudi Nationals Only
  • * **Mandatory hands-on maintenance experience in Ethylene Cracker/MFC units. Candidates without Cracker maintenance experience will not be considered.**
  • Strong knowledge of gas turbines, compressors, pumps, furnaces, heat exchangers, boilers, columns, piping systems, and critical rotating equipment used in Cracker plants.
  • Proven experience managing plant turnarounds, shutdowns, maintenance contracts, and reliability improvement programs.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS, maintenance planning, RBI, RCA, and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to deliver business results while working in a multicultural environment.
