Job Summary:

We are seeking a Record‑to‑Report (R2R) Manager with strong expertise in Cash and Bank and Treasury Accounting. The role includes overseeing bank reconciliations, clearing bank open items, posting cash and treasury journal entries, and supporting a timely, controlled month‑end close. It also covers key treasury activities such as global cash management, FX, and investments.
The role drives accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across cash and treasury processes using ERP systems such as SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA and tools like Blackline, while supporting automation and process improvements.

You will ensure accuracy of cash and treasury balances in the general ledger, improve reconciliations and cash accounting, clear open items, support close activities, implement treasury best practices, manage liquidity, collaborate with treasury leaders and internal teams, and streamline journals, reconciliations, and reporting to enable faster close.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of key Treasury processes such as corporate cash management or FX risk management activities.
  • Partner with internal constituents to solve corporate cash management issues.
  • Leading junior treasury team members for professional growth.
  • Institute and socialize BCP/BIA processes and planning.
  • Maintain and manage Treasury Workstation usage, optimization, testing, and upgrades.
  • Integrate acquisitions and standardize policies across the organization.
  • Provide oversight of intercompany loans and other Treasury Policies.
  • Identify automation initiatives for daily operations efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams for regulatory and licensing compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

Your Day-to-Day

  • Perform end-to-end R2R activities for cash and bank accounting & Treasury including daily/periodic postings and month-end close deliverables

  • Prepare/review, post, journal entries related to cash movements, bank charges/interest, treasury activities & accounting for fx trades, hedging and deposits etc. and process in line with accounting policies

  • Execute bank reconciliations clear bank open items, and ensure timely resolution of breaks with strong root-cause analysis

  • Operate and maintain account reconciliations in Blackline (end-user), including preparation, substantiation, aging reviews, and certification within defined timelines

  • Investigate variances between bank statements, sub-ledgers, and GL; coordinate resolution with Treasury, AP/AR, Payroll, and local finance teams as required

  • Support cash-related controls and compliance requirements (including SOX where applicable), ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and audit trails

  • Drive/support process improvements and automation in finance operations using advanced Excel (Power Query/pivots), VBA/macros, bots/RPA tools, or workflow enhancements to reduce manual effort and errors

  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and close calendars for cash/bank and treasury accounting processes

  • Partner with internal/external auditors by providing reconciliations, support schedules, and evidence; address audit queries with strong documentation and responsiveness

  • Support ERP enhancements or transitions (SAP ECC to SAP (S/4HANA)), including testing, process mapping, and hyper care support as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in R2R accounting with specialization in Cash and bank accounting, treasury and bank reconciliations with overall up to 16 years of experience in record to report

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent qualification. CA or CMA is a plus

  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP (S/4HANA) for GL postings, cash/bank processes, accounting for fx trades, hedging and deposits and month-end activities

  • Blackline experience as an end-user (reconciliations/tasks preparation/certification)

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, reconciliation models, large data handling); exposure to Power Query/Power Pivot is a plus

  • Demonstrated experience delivering process improvements and/or automation using Excel VBA/macros, Bots/RPA tools, or workflow optimization is a plus

  • Strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines during close

  • Flexible to cover calls for America time zone during the month end close

  • Experience in team handling, performance review and drive the team towards common objective

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret bank/GL data, identify exceptions, and drive issues to closure and make preventive measures

  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills across Finance, Treasury, and operational teams
