Mars Food & Nutrition is on a mission ‘to change the way we put food on the table for tomorrow’. We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Brand Manager to join a dynamic marketing team on a 13-month fixed term basis. You will be entrusted with the leadership of the iconic MasterFoods sauces portfolio—the heart of our Australian business.

This is one of the most sought-after brand roles at Mars—a unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of scale and influence. You will have a high degree of autonomy, visibility to senior leadership, and the chance to leave a lasting legacy on an iconic Australian brand. You'll be part of a lean, high-performing, and supportive team that is passionate about what they do. You will lead the brand's strategic direction, drive innovation, and manage high-visibility campaigns that connect with millions of consumers.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive Brand Strategy: Develop and execute the annual growth plan and 3-year portfolio strategy for the MasterFoods sauces portfolio, leveraging deep consumer, shopper, and category insights.
  • Lead Innovation: Steer a transformational 3-year innovation pipeline, from ideation to launch. You'll be the marketing lead within our cross-functional “Tribe” to bring new products and renovations to life.
  • Execute with Excellence: Manage the development and execution of integrated brand communication campaigns, working closely with our partner agencies to deliver creative excellence from concept to execution.
  • Deliver Financial Results: Take full P&L responsibility for the portfolio, focusing on driving both sales and profit growth, and utilizing the S&OP+ process to manage risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Act as a key leader within the business, collaborating closely with Sales, R&D, Category, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and drive projects forward with purpose and vision.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience as a Senior Brand Manager with a demonstrated track record in a similar role. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

  • Strategic & Commercial Acumen: You possess strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to build a compelling vision and make commercially savvy decisions, including Profit & Loss management.
  • Core Marketing Skills: Deep expertise in New Product Development (NPD), turning consumer insights into actionable plans, and managing communications/media campaigns.
  • Exceptional Leadership Behaviours: You thrive in complexity, are a natural collaborator, and are action-oriented with a strong drive for results. You can manage ambiguity and inspire teams to deliver on a shared vision.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing

Why you’ll love working for Mars:

  • Purpose: Help craft beloved brands with a legacy of over 100 years of local manufacturing making products that people and pets will love all while helping to build a more sustainable future.
  • People: A culture that values your contributions, fosters leadership, and recognises the impact you make. Your work truly matters here.
  • Development: Shape your career with personalised development and real opportunities to grow from day one.
  • Enjoy a team and business environment that is invested in helping you manage and grow your energy for work and life.
