YOUR MISSION
The Workday Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring that Workday and related People technologies are fully aligned with Glovo’s business processes and operational needs. This person will oversee how system configurations, functionalities, and process designs support local and global People strategies. It will be responsible for defining Glovo’s requirements, coordinating with global and internal teams, and ensuring that the system setup enables efficiency, compliance, and a great employee experience. In addition, this role will lead transversal initiatives across the People team: leading projects that enhance processes, tools, and collaboration. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong stakeholder management skills, a passion for HR technology, and the ability to bridge global systems with local business needs.
THE JOURNEY
- Act as the primary point of contact between Glovo and Delivery Hero for all Workday- and People Tech–related topics.
- Represent Glovo’s interests in cross-company discussions, ensuring that system and process decisions reflect local business and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop a team responsible for People Systems support, data integrity, process improvements, and training.
- Partner with People Operations, People Partnership, Talent Acquisition, People Controlling, Analytics, Total Rewards and IT to gather, document, and communicate system requirements or process impacts.
- Ensure that the People team has the knowledge, tools, and training required to perform their Workday-related activities effectively.
- Evaluate upcoming Workday releases and global configuration changes, identifying potential effects on Glovo’s operations.
- Coordinate testing, feedback, and rollout of new features or system updates in collaboration with Delivery Hero.
- Monitor data accuracy and process efficiency, proposing improvements and advocating for automation or simplification when needed.
- Support internal stakeholders in understanding how Workday and other People Tech tools support their daily operations.
- Provide input on process improvement opportunities and advocate for automation and simplification within People operations.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- 4+ years of experience in HR systems, People Operations, or HR process management roles.
- Experience leading a team and developing others. (Nice to have)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of Workday (as a functional user or business stakeholder) and general HR technology ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams and geographies.
