The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for an ASSISTANT POOL & BEACH MANAGER. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Pools team, the ASSISTANT POOL & BEACH MANAGER works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

 

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Recreation Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for operation. 

  • The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, residents, and group contacts. 

  • Describe and ensure quality of all food & beverage items, amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods. 

  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control. 

  • Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments; conduct preshift meetings with staff. 

  • Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed. 

 

WHAT TO BRING 

 

  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage 

  • One to two years previous experience in a Manager or assistant manager position. 

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
