What We’re Looking For:

An enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Recreation Manager to help lead, train, and develop the recreation team. In this role, you'll drive a culture of service excellence and guest safety while supporting a wide array of engaging recreational experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations for Recreation, Fitness Center, and Safety Programs—ensuring alignment with brand standards and guest expectations. Serve as the acting Recreation Manager in their absence.

  • Manage and monitor all pool and recreation activities, including guest programs, and towel service

  • Lead training of all recreation team members.

  • Foster internal awareness and promotion of recreation offerings to maximize guest engagement and revenue opportunities.

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all recreational areas

  • Lead monthly staff meetings and training sessions to reinforce safety protocols and service standards.

  • Analyze trends and guest feedback to evolve our recreational offerings and enhance satisfaction.

  • Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters

Your Experience Includes:

  • Minimum one year of recreation/aquatics supervisory experience preferred.

  • Must be able to swim and be comfortable in and around water for an entire shift required.

  • Must be able to complete and maintain current Lifeguard certification to include written and practical exams required.

  • Must complete monthly in-service training requirements.

  • Must hold clean motor vehicle driving record upon request.

  • Licensed Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
