About your team

The Consultant Database Team (CDB) currently has four team members with the primary goal of maintaining critical data points across 11 external Consultant Databases. The team sits under Global RFP and works very closely with EMEA, APAC ex-Japan and Japan Consultant Relations teams.

About your role

Institutional Consultant Databases are vitally important as they serve as a ‘shop window’ to enable investment consultants, existing and potential clients to evaluate our company, products and services and ultimately make major investment decisions. Investment consultants such as Mercer, Aon Hewitt and Cambridge Associates are generally appointed by institutional pension fund trustees to assist with asset allocation and providing comprehensive due diligence of Asset Managers.

It is crucial that Fidelity provides accurate and up-to-date information that communicates our proposition clearly. This requires a strong understanding of Asset Management, data manipulation skills, working with many key stakeholders and driving with the development of key IT systems within Fidelity.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for consultant database submissions (maintenance and population) across Fidelity International strategies in collaboration with other team members in India.

• Quarterly and monthly data and information uploads onto full range of databases (including eVestment, CAMRADATA, AlphaPort) using manual and automated means including eVestment Omni tool and other systems/tools as required.

• Regular/ad hoc consultant relations requests (e.g. quarterly data/information) Close liaison with Global Consultant Relations (GCR) function, KMT/RFP teams in London and India, content SMEs, Wholesale/DC team stakeholders and FMR/FIC CDB teams to ensure consistency of information going to clients

• Ability to automate processes where possible, to avoid manual intervention

• Ability to demonstrate industry best-practice to help drive further efficiencies.

The ideal candidate for the CDB role is a highly detail‑oriented and organized professional with a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency. The candidate has a solid understanding of data management processes, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Exceptional Attention to Detail: Consistently maintains high accuracy when entering, reviewing, and organizing data.
• Experienced with Consultant Databases (including eVestment, CAMRADATA, AlphaPort)
• Strong understanding of Asset Management
• Organizational Strength: Capable of handling large volumes of information while maintaining orderly records and meeting deadlines.
• Analytical Thinking: Able to identify errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies within data sets.
• Time Management: Efficiently prioritizes tasks to ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, or project‑based assignments.
• Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication
• Adaptability: Shows flexibility and a willingness to learn new systems or processes as organizational needs evolve.
