Job Title         : Group Head eCommerce

Job Summary

The Group Head eCommerce is a senior leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end eCommerce performance across key marketplaces, with a strong focus on Shopee and TikTok Shop. This role oversees strategy, operations, media, and affiliate growth while managing and developing high-performing teams. As a client-facing leader, the role requires strong commercial acumen, deep marketplace expertise, and the confidence to represent the company in strategic discussions with key clients.

Key Responsibilities

eCommerce Strategy & Growth

  • Lead and define overall eCommerce strategy across marketplaces (Shopee, TikTok Shop, and others) to drive revenue, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • Develop integrated approaches covering onsite performance, affiliates, creators, operations, and promotions.
  • Identify growth opportunities through data-driven insights, platform innovations, and competitive benchmarking.

Marketplace & Media Expertise

  • Own in-app and onsite advertising strategies for Shopee and TikTok (e.g. search ads, discovery ads, live ads, product ads).
  • Optimize performance through budget allocation, funnel strategy, and continuous testing.
  • Stay up to date with platform algorithm changes, new ad products, and best practices.

Operations & Affiliate Ecosystem

  • Oversee end-to-end marketplace operations, including campaign planning, product readiness, pricing, logistics coordination, and execution.
  • Lead affiliate and creator commerce strategies, ensuring alignment between content, traffic, and conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop multi-functional eCommerce teams (media, affiliates, operations).
  • Set clear KPIs, ensure accountability, and build a strong performance-driven culture.
  • Act as a mentor and escalation point for complex commercial or operational challenges.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a senior client-facing representative in strategic meetings, reviews, and business planning sessions.
  • Build trust and credibility with clients through strong marketplace knowledge and clear recommendations.
  • Translate client business objectives into actionable eCommerce strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong background in eCommerce marketplaces, with hands-on experience across media, affiliates, and operations.
  • Prior experience at eCommerce and/or leading beauty players.
  • Proven track record managing and scaling eCommerce performance for brands or clients.

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of Shopee and TikTok Shop ecosystems, including in-app / onsite advertising.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth and efficiency.
  • Confident communicator with experience leading client-facing discussions and presentations.
  • Analytical, structured, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
