Job Description

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 550 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

Ready to use data to change the game? Join us at PrizePicks and help millions of sports fans get a faster, smarter product. This paid internship in Atlanta (Hybrid) is your chance to follow a Business Intelligence track for the strategic thinkers who use data to inform business-wide decisions and do work that directly impacts a real-world product. You'll move beyond dashboards to drive strategy, inform decisions, and help shape the future of sports.

What you’ll do:

  • Support Strategic Decisions: Contribute to analytics projects that help inform key business decisions.
  • Improve & Document Core Datasets: Help enhance datasets to improve usability and support more detailed analysis and reporting.
  • Develop Core Reports: Build, document, and maintain easy-to-use, insightful dashboards and re-usable analyses.
  • Support Stakeholders: Partner with stakeholders to help address data, knowledge, and process gaps. Answer ad-hoc data questions with clear, reliable information.
  • Build Domain Knowledge: Develop a working knowledge of our data, users, and stakeholder priorities.

What you have:

We’re looking for a sharp, driven student ready to contribute. You're a great fit if you have:

  • Analytics Background: Foundational technical experience with SQL, data visualization (e.g. Tableau), and Excel formulas.
  • Critical thinking: You can understand how data points interact with each other and build together like puzzle pieces to tell a full story.
  • Industry Familiarity: A genuine interest in sports, gaming, or prediction markets. You understand the fundamentals well enough that you won't need a crash course on how the games work.
  • A Project to Show Off: Something you can walk us through, whether it’s from a class, a personal GitHub project
