Job Description
The candidate will use customer obsession and analytics to drive their business. The Brand Specialist will have the opportunity to engage with multiple internal teams to optimize performance for key vendors on Amazon.ca. They will utilize strong communication skills to collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, such as site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to drive performance for our Amazon.ca vendors.
This position provides the candidate an opportunity to execute analytical deeps dives that help inform growth strategies and initiatives. Amazon.ca Brand Specialists get the unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer, while developing strong functional skills in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning/forecasting, pricing, and business analytics.
Brand Specialist roles are in the General Management career path at Amazon. This role is an excellent introduction to a wide variety of business functions and provides advancement opportunities to more senior roles in Marketing/Merchandising, Vendor Management, Product Management and Inventory Management.
This position can be located in either Seattle or Toronto, CA.

The Canada Fashion Vendor Management team manages the relationships with top vendors in the Apparel, Shoes, Luggage, Watches, and Jewelry space for Canada. We work with our external and internal stakeholders to add value to our customers and grow a sustainable business in the space. Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience- Experience managing large amounts of data
- Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions
- Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion or inventory management
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
