EMEA Living Data Operative, Data Operations (maternity cover)Job Description Summary
As a Data Operative supporting our Living sector, your main responsibility will be to perform data entry activities of unstructured property data. You will ensure that the data is accurate, complete, and up to date. By doing this, you will allow the research and business teams to transform data into insightful, actionable intelligence that drives strategic decisions and fosters innovation across our operations. Positioned within the broader EMEA Business Development Services team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of professionals, including data research analyst, data scientists and automation experts, to streamline data processes and support analytics offerings.Important: this job is a maternity leave cover for an estimated 2-3 years.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update unstructured property data in the system accurately and efficiently, ensuring data is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
Lead the creation of new databases independently, defining the collection criteria and quality standards and securing stakeholder approval before proceeding
Define and set up of KPIs of data accuracy and completeness, from initial definition through to implementation, to enable ongoing performance tracking and reporting
Assist with ad-hoc data and analysis requests from the business
Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and the EMEA Research Team to deliver market, client, and operational data requirements
Work closely with our Research teams to enable and support their reporting requirements & data needs
Work on key data focused projects at country and EMEA level to help deliver our data focused company objectives
Support the cleansing and enhancing of datasets to improve overall quality
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, working independently and as part of a team to deliver on assigned KPIs and business goals
Liaise with business stakeholders, in particular the data science, business intelligence and research leads, to capture additional data and insight to augment analytical capabilities
Knowledge & Experience:
Fluent in English
Strong communication skills, acting as the go-to contact for Living Data across EMEA; comfortable engaging frequently with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, to keep teams aligned across markets.
Real estate industry knowledge is a nice to have. We're equally excited by candidates who bring genuine curiosity about the sector and a willingness to quickly get up to speed on property data, market terminology, and industry-specific concepts
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning and organisation)
Proven experience in data management, this includes tasks such as collecting, entering, organising, validating, and maintaining data across systems, ensuring it remains accurate, consistent, and accessible for reporting and analysis
Experience structuring and leading database creation projects independently — defining the process, setting data collection criteria, and gaining stakeholder sign-off
Intermediate knowledge of Power BI, including data modelling concepts such as star schema (fact and dimension tables) and relationships between tables
Strong communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders
Team player with the ability to work independently
Detail-oriented, organized, and focused
Reliable, able to meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Quantitative degree or equivalent practical experience
