The Role
Pure Storage is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director, Partner Sales ANZ to lead and scale our ANZ partner ecosystem. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth through a team of Partner Account Managers, strengthening executive-level partner relationships, and maximizing revenue through a high-performing channel strategy.
As a key member of the sales leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping go-to-market success by aligning closely with Regional Sales leadership, Field Marketing, and cross-functional teams. You will champion a partner-first approach—unlocking new opportunities, accelerating pipeline creation, and expanding Pure Storage’s footprint through best-in-class channel execution.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Scale a High-Performing Team
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Partner Account Managers in ANZ, enabling them to consistently exceed performance targets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development across the team.
- Drive clarity of vision, execution discipline, and measurable outcomes across partner engagement efforts.
Drive Partner Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Define and execute a comprehensive ANZ partner strategy to maximize revenue, pipeline, and market penetration.
- Identify, recruit, and grow strategic reseller and distribution partnerships.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with key partners to accelerate sell-through and long-term growth.
Strengthen Executive Relationships
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic counterpart.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and partnership agreements aligned with mutual business objectives.
- Elevate Pure Storage’s value proposition within the partner ecosystem.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Partner closely with ANZ Sales leadership, District Managers, and Account Executives to align on territory plans and drive joint success.
- Collaborate with Partner and Field Marketing to design and execute high-impact programs, campaigns, and events that generate demand and expand reach.
- Actively represent Pure Storage at industry events, partner engagements, and executive forums.
Operational Excellence & Market Expansion
- Establish scalable processes, best practices, and performance metrics to optimize partner productivity and ROI.
- Drive consistent pipeline creation, forecast accuracy, and business visibility across the partner landscape.
- Continuously assess market dynamics to identify new growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
What You Bring
Leadership & Channel Expertise
- Proven experience leading and scaling ANZ partner sales teams, including managing leaders of leaders.
- Strong track record of building, developing, and growing reseller and distributor ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success in driving channel-led revenue growth and pipeline expansion.
Strategic & Commercial Acumen
- Ability to assess, plan, and execute territory and partner strategies that maximize revenue and operational efficiency.
