About the role
Team Description:
Kitware’s Open Source Software Technology Program (OSTP) seeks to recruit hard-working, talented, and curious new graduates with Computer Science and Computer Engineering bachelor’s degrees to work on exciting open-source projects at Kitware while earning a master’s degree in Computer Science. The OSTP is a three-year program in which members will work on a variety of projects, learn open-source processes, and build technical leadership skills while completing the master’s degree.
About the Projects:

The OSTP requires both work and study over the three-year program period; program members must work 32 hours per week onsite at our Clifton Park, NY office during college semesters and approximately 40 hours per week on-site during summers. Subject to our tuition reimbursement payback requirements, Kitware will reimburse 100% of educational expenses for the master’s degree (including tuition, books, equipment, fees, and supplies).
