Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, FL.

Key Responsibilities

This role will serve as the primary interface between Northrop Grumman bomber platforms, leading execution and ensuring collaboration across multiple large upgrade programs.  Maintains continual liaison with all appropriate levels of external and internal customers. Assist business areas with external customer priorities, initiatives, and challenges. Arrange meetings/interactions (formal and informal) between customers to support information exchange, win new business, and retain existing business. Serve on capture, color, and strategy teams to help business areas achieve objectives and priorities. Travel as necessary to government/Northrop facilities for customer contact, consistent messaging, training, and business development. Lead diverse technical teams, navigate internal processes, communicate with customers, manage suppliers, and bring clarity to ambiguous situations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below:

  • Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.

  • Must have an active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

  • Understanding of low observable long-range strike systems.

  • Working knowledge of nuclear and conventional weapons; current and future requirements.

  • Working knowledge of low observable strike aircraft mission capabilities and system integration efforts; to include nuclear and conventional weapons, tactical and strategic comms, and survivability subsystems.

  • Experience is program estimation, to include ROMs, labor proposals, and supplier estimates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Top Secret/Special Program Access Clearance.

  • Experience in low observability tactics and technology, military strategy, and employment of low observable aircraft.

Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
