The Customer Order Processor is responsible for the end-to-end processing of customer orders in a business-to-business environment and acts as a key interface between customers, internal departments, and external partners.
This position is a 2 year contract
What you will do
End-to-end processing of customer orders from order entry through invoicing
Review, maintenance, and monitoring of customer orders within the ERP system
Ensuring on-time delivery in alignment with confirmed delivery dates, availability, and priorities
Tracking order status and proactively informing customers in case of deviations
Invoicing of customer orders and clarification of billing-related topics
Professional and solution-oriented customer communication (written and verbal)
Close coordination with customers regarding order books, forecasts, and delivery schedules
Collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Production, Material Planning, Logistics, Shipping, Finance, and Quality
Ensuring compliance with Incoterms as well as export control and customs regulations
Support in resolving delivery, shipping, and invoicing discrepancies
Maintenance of customer master data and order-related information
Contribution to continuous improvement of customer service processes
Experience & Skills
Experience in business-to-business (B2B) environments
Knowledge of Incoterms
Basic understanding of export control, foreign and customs regulations
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications
Experience working in industry
Fluency in German and English is a must (C1 or above)
