About the role
Role:
The Broker Data Associate will play a critical role in helping the business manage and strengthen sell-side relationships through broker data and research by:
• Helping manage relationships with sell-side brokers for broker data and research feeds
• Providing insights into the sell-side data offerings and identify opportunities to expand data partnership
• Acting as a point of coordination between sell-side brokers and internal teams on data-related initiatives and requests
Responsibilities:
• Help build and scale data relationships with our existing and new brokers
• Act as a liaison to address day-to-day requests around broker data
• Onboard new broker datasets through the entire lifecycle, including collaborating with Compliance, Legal, etc.
• Leverage sell-side insights to understand data landscape and hedge fund trends
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (with strong academic record)
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Financial industry experience required; sell-side experience is a plus
• Experience working with data sourcing and management is a plus
• Ability to be manage, prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast-faced, multitasking environment
• Ability to uphold compliance framework and IP sensitivity framework
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity and love for proactive learning
• Strong interpersonal skills
