Required Qualifications:

·       BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech – 9-12 years of experience in electronics domain specifically in component engineering.

Required Skills:

  • Must have hands-on component engineering experience dealing with electronic, electric, electromechanical and mechanical COTS components. Should have knowledge of Component lifecycle and obsolescence of electronic components, understanding of Obsolescence Health Review Report/ Lifecycle Analysis Report, BOM analysis.
  • Knowledge of electronic Components and its key parameters. Understanding of alternates for long lead time and obsolete components to assure longevity, applicability and selection of parts that best fit for Aerospace requirements
  • Should have good knowledge of environmental standards like RoHS, REACH and ensure components comply with regulations
  • Should have good knowledge of Electromechanical components, different types of connectors , commodities and Approved semiconductor manufacturer list (AML)
  • Good  knowledge of Lead-Free terminology, understand MDDS (Material Declaration Data Sheet), FMD (Full Material Disclosure), Obsolescence Tools such as IHS, Silicon Expert, PLM (Teamcenter and Agile) tools ,component Databases and various component standards.
  • Excellent Knowledge of Component analysis and functional identification of suitable parts for the design
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems associated with electronic parts and its lifecycle along with the team.
  • Should be able to manage the COE with multiple stakeholders and guide the team with estimates, planning and scheduling.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
