As a Financial Analyst, you’ll help power Slide’s growth by delivering insightful analysis, clear reporting, and data‑driven recommendations across our Property & Casualty insurance business.

 

 

What You’ll Do

 

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
  • Perform variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods
  • Analyze financial performance, trends, and key operating metrics

Forecasting & Business Support

  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Support executive leadership and department leaders with actionable insights
  • Assist with business cases, ROI analysis, and strategic initiatives
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses for senior leadership and business partners

Collaboration, Compliance & Optimization

  • Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, and operational teams to validate data and performance drivers
  • Support GAAP and statutory (STAT) reporting and related regulatory requirements
  • Maintain documentation to ensure accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness
  • Support investor relations and public company reporting, as needed
  • Contribute to system enhancements, automation efforts, and process improvements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting (P&C insurance preferred)
  • Experience analyzing financial statements and evaluating performance trends
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and statutory (STAT) reporting
  • Exposure to SEC filings (10‑K, 10‑Q) and external audit processes
  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)
