Your Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor Indian corporate/macro news, sentiment, material catalysts and translate into tradable actions
- Provide daily reports and commentary on themes relevant to our trading strategies
- Maintain constant expertise of Indian market structure, companies, economy and politics
- Collaborate with traders on strategies across market-making and position taking
- Assess impact of various corporate actions and upcoming events on pricing
- Communicate with other IMC Analysts across EU, US, Asia on trading research and strategies
Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Economics/Finance/Business OR STEM from a Top University. CFA would be a plus
- 3+ years of experience in Indian equities. Team handling experience is preferred
- Experience with Excel and Bloomberg is necessary
- Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills supported by natural curiosity
- Indian Macro/ Indian X-Asset exposure a plus
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Skills to contribute and communicate in a team environment are essential
- Exposure to Python and Options knowledge including understanding of the Greeks is a plus
