About the role

The Role:

You will work with senior consultants on client engagements involving research, analysis, policy advisory, techno-commercial assessment and strategy in green hydrogen, clean fuels and renewable energy. The role is designed for early-career professionals with strong analytical ability, structured thinking and clear communication skills. Deep sector knowledge is not required; the ability to learn quickly and convert information into useful insights is more important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and synthesize information from policy documents, tenders, company disclosures, government sources and industry reports.

  • Build and maintain Excel-based trackers, simple models and market benchmarks.

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, gaps, implications and client-relevant insights.

  • Translate analysis into clear PowerPoint decks, briefing notes, reports and proposal inputs.

  • Structure ambiguous questions, connect data points and support well-reasoned conclusions.

  • Work with senior team members to deliver high-quality outputs with accuracy, clarity and attention to detail.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 0–2 years; internships, live projects and research assignments count.

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Management, Energy, Environment or a related discipline.

  • Institute preference: Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes such as IITs, NITs, IISc, BITS, DTU, NSUT, reputed state engineering colleges, or top management institutes.

  • Core skills: Excel, structured thinking, business writing, PowerPoint and data interpretation.

  • Mindset: intellectually curious, high-ownership, detail-oriented and comfortable working with ambiguity.

What Matters Most

  • Analytical depth – ability to work with incomplete information, identify patterns and extract meaning.

  • Insight over information – ability to interpret facts, draw conclusions and flag what matters for the client.

  • Clear communication – crisp writing, structured slides and outputs suitable for senior audiences.

  • Speed of learning – ability to quickly understand new topics and apply them in client work.

  • Reliability – accuracy, ownership and consistency in day-to-day delivery.

Nice to Have, Not Required

  • Internship, coursework or project exposure in green hydrogen, clean fuels, renewable energy, sustainability, infrastructure or consulting.

  • Exposure to techno-commercial analysis, policy research, market sizing, financial modeling or data analytics.

  • Familiarity with Python, Power BI, GIS or other analytical tools.
