Who You Are and What You'll Do:  

Capstone Integrated Solutions is looking for a highly motivated and talented Data Scientist. In this role you will support hands-on analysis, data preparation, validation, and feature exploration to enable accurate predictive modeling. This is an execution-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with large datasets, uncovering patterns, and collaborating with senior data science leadership.

  

Responsibilities:  

  • Support data validation across historical and newly ingested datasets.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and feature relevance.
  • Assist with data preparation, cleansing, and transformation for modeling.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Data Scientist on feature understanding and engineering.
  • Evaluate data across multiple data zones to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Help refine predictive outputs to improve demand and pricing forecasts.
  • Document findings, assumptions, and validation results throughout the PoC.

Qualifications:  

  • Professional experience as a Data Scientist or Applied Data Analyst.
  • Strong background in data preparation, validation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
  • Experience working with historical time-series or pricing/demand datasets.
  • Proficiency with Python and common data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior technical leads and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
