Senior Global Go-Direct Purchasing Specialist

Position Purpose & Objectives

1. Functional Area: Open PO Past Dues Reporting, Shipment tracking, Critical Vendor Management, Payment Issues Resolve, Freight Forwarders Management, Supplier Portal Trainings. 2. Provide international Purchasing/logistics professions

Major Tasks

• Open PO’s & Past Dues Reporting

• Co-ordinate with Business Planners, SBD plants & DC’s worldwide for smooth execution of Go-Direct POs.
• Monitor the shipping process, logistics, vendors, transportation, invoice and customs events.

• Collaborate with sourcing team to provide the visibility of the shipment schedule, pending list.
• Forecasting/ solving the difficulties & critical issues on product delivery with the suppliers
• Work with PE/QE for supplier Lead Time reduction
• Managing Transportation Related issues with suppliers & nominated freight forwarders.
• Annual Supplier Capacity Review VS Total Demand with Divisions.
• Supplier Payments Issues Resolve with planning , accounts payable teams.

Reports:

• Weekly Open PO’s & Past dues trend reports.
• Weekly Critical Vendor List
• Monthly Fill Rate/Root Cause Details Report
• Bi-weekly Supplier Payment Exception Report
