Job Description: Experience Upskilling App - Simulation Designer & Pit Stop Program Crew

Position Overview
JLL is seeking a creative Content Development & Simulation Designer to shape learning experiences for our Experience Upskilling App—a digital platform delivering gamified training to on-site employees across our global facility management accounts.
You'll design compelling simulation-based experiences that drive measurable behavioural change, crafting engaging narratives and dialogues that transform learning objectives into experiences users genuinely want to complete.
Additionally, you'll support JLL's Pit Stop Program—our continuous improvement initiative that captures, evaluates, and shares innovative experience initiatives across global accounts. This dual focus allows you to both create new learning content and help elevate best practices emerging from the field.

You have proven experience developing narrative-driven training content, ideally including dialogue-based scenarios. Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Learning Design
Create compelling, natural dialogue for characters within facility management and workplace service scenarios
Develop engaging narratives aligned with learning objectives that drive behavioural change
Design gamified, bite-sized learning experiences using the vendor's platform
Apply pedagogical best practices to ensure effective knowledge transfer
Develop role-specific training modules for diverse on-site employee populations across global accounts
Stakeholder Collaboration & Research
Run workshops and conduct interviews with facility management leaders and account teams Collaborate with the Training Platform Project Lead, vendor's project managers, visual designers, and technical teams
Work with subject matter experts to capture authentic workplace scenarios
Engage with account leaders to ensure content reflects client-specific requirements and cultural contexts
Platform Implementation & Quality Assurance
Design and create interactive training simulations within the vendor's platform
Test and refine learning experiences to ensure engagement, clarity, and effectiveness
Build and maintain a comprehensive library of generic and customizable learning modules
Update content based on user feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs
Document best practices, style guides, and content development standards
Content Library Management
Build and maintain a comprehensive library of generic and customizable learning modules
Document best practices, style guides, and content development standards
Organize content assets to enable efficient customization for client-specific needs
Contribute to continuous improvement of content development processes and workflows
Pit Stop Program Support
Coordinate Pit Stop meetings with stakeholders across accounts and regions
Evaluate and score experience initiatives, identifying high-impact practices for broader implementation
Analyze Pit Stop outcomes to identify trends and opportunities for scalable learning content
Maintain Pit Stop documentation, SharePoint site, leaderboard, and the Garage repository
Support continuous improvement of the Pit Stop process based on user feedback and program outcomes
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, English, Communications, or related field
Proven experience developing compelling narratives and dialogue for training content
Strong background in instructional design with demonstrated application of pedagogical principles
Experience creating interactive or gamified learning experiences preferred
3+ years in hospitality, facility management, or workplace services is advantageous
Skills & Competencies
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
Strong sense of pedagogical best practices and adult learning principles
Excellent storytelling ability with talent for creating engaging, authentic experiences
Understanding of game design principles and interactive learning methodologies
Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into effective learning content
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Power BI, and SharePoint
Capabilities in data collection, analysis, and visualization
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Cultural sensitivity for creating globally relevant content
Success Metrics
Quality, engagement levels, and timely delivery of learning content modules
Learner completion rates, satisfaction scores, and measurable behavioral change
Successful implementation across diverse accounts with positive stakeholder feedback
Timely coordination of Pit Stop meetings and quality of initiative evaluations
Accuracy and currency of Pit Stop documentation, SharePoint site, and leaderboard
Actionable insights generated from Pit Stop outcome analysis
Reporting & Collaboration
Reports to the Upskilling App Program Lead and collaborates with:
Technology vendor's project teams (developers, visual designers, writers)
JLLT (JLL Technologies)
Regional facility management leaders and subject matter experts
Account teams, client relationship managers, and experience leads
HR and Learning & Development teams
Data and analytics teams supporting program measurement
