About the role
We are looking for a new colleague to join our newly established VELUX Global Finance & GBS Center of Excellence (CoE).
As an FP&A Analyst in the Global Finance & GBS CoE, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial operations and performance by supporting the FP&A team. Your key tasks will include streamlining processes, planning, creating insights through reporting, and supporting ad hoc requests.
Specifically, as an FP&A Analyst, you will support and manage the key operational aspects of monthly management reporting and contribute to deliverables for senior management — especially regarding Units, Performance, Sales overviews, and other standardized materials. In addition, there will be tasks covering aiding with CAPEX reporting. All of this must run through HQ FP&A for quality checks and alignment.
Your responsibilities
- Monitoring and analyzing financial performance, providing insights and recommendations
- Preparing financial reports for other finance stakeholders and functional management teams, as well as supporting ad hoc analyses based on these reports
- Supporting stakeholder communication related to CAPEX reporting
- Preparing initial reporting and data extracts for selected CAPEX areas
- Optimizing Excel models to enhance financial planning and reporting processes
- Supporting the split of Residential & Commercial units
- Preparing and updating Excel workbooks and PowerPoint presentations
- Planning deliverables and following up with stakeholders
- Providing first-level commentary on the Monthly Management Report (MMR)
- Drafting unit reporting for various executive committees
- Supporting the approval process for standard reporting templates and content
- Assisting in preparing for planning processes, including:
- Updating and maintaining Gantt charts and timelines with HQ FP&A
- Tracking process improvements and sharing updates with HQ FP&A
- Scheduling meetings and preparing relevant materials to support a professionalized planning setup
- Updating presentation materials related to the planning cycle
- Coordinating communication with the global finance community during preparation phases
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Prior experience in an FP&A Analyst role or a similar finance position
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Documented experience in implementing and optimizing processes across functions and tasks
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
