Gamma

Job Description
About the role
Gamma is building its B2B events program from the ground up, and we're looking for someone who sees that as a creative opportunity. You'll own the full field marketing motion: sponsored events, hosted experiences, exec dinners, and formats we haven't invented yet. Your mandate is to make Gamma's presence in any room feel unmistakably different from the standard booth-and-badge playbook.
You know the B2B events world well enough to know where it falls short. You've run enough programs to have real operational instincts. But what drives you is the creative problem: how do you make someone who's never heard of Gamma walk away wanting to tell someone about it? You'll work closely with our Head of B2B Marketing, sales, and content teams to connect event moments to broader campaigns and pipeline goals. The creative vision for how Gamma shows up in the world? That's yours to define.
Our team has a strong in-office culture and works in person 4–5 days per week in San Francisco. We love working together to stay creative and connected, with flexibility to work from home when focus matters most.
What you'll do
Own Gamma's presence at industry conferences and sponsored events, from strategy through on-site execution, with creative judgment about how we show up and what people remember
Build and run Gamma-hosted experiences: standalone events, co-hosted activations with partners, and exec dinner formats targeting senior buyers
Partner with sales to align event strategy to pipeline goals and ensure every touchpoint gets meaningful follow-through
Collaborate with B2B marketing and content teams to tie event programming into product launches, thought leadership, and campaign moments
Develop repeatable operational infrastructure: briefing templates, run-of-show docs, vendor management, and post-event reporting
Define and track the metrics that matter: pipeline influenced, attendance quality, and what happens after the event ends
What you'll bring
5+ years of B2B field marketing or events experience, with ownership of programs end-to-end, not just execution against someone else's plan
Creative taste and the confidence to act on it. You have a point of view on what makes an event worth attending and a track record of bringing that vision to life
Real operational depth: you've managed vendors, negotiated contracts, handled day-of surprises, and can anticipate what goes wrong before it does
Clear understanding of B2B event goals: pipeline and perception, not just headcount
AI fluency: you actively use AI tools in your work and get excited about applying them to do things differently
Experience at a high-growth startup or PLG SaaS company, with a background in co-marketing, partner events, or building programs and teams from zero (Nice to have)
Compensation range:
The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $130K - $180K plus benefits & equity.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.
If you're interested in this role but you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway! We're always excited about meeting great people.
