Position Overview

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a dynamic and strategic Category Marketing Manager to join our Crop Protection Division for the Nordic & Baltic countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth, market share, and profitability for Corteva’s fungicide portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of the Nordic & Baltic agricultural market, including customer needs and market dynamics, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and drive for comprehensive strategies for the fungicide crop protection categories aligned with Corteva’s business objectives.

  • Analyse market trends, customer insights as well as the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats within the segment.

  • Accountable for building business cases for new product concepts.

  • Lead the Local Product Concept Team (LPCT) for the designated portfolio.

  • Lead the product development and support the Sales Managers execution of go-to-market plans, including product launches, and work closely together with the Marketing Team preparing promotional campaigns.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Regulatory, R&D teams and Sales, to ensure execution of category plans.

  • Manage portfolio lifecycle, including product-, and value propositions.

  • Monitor and report on category performance, adjusting tactics as needed to achieve growth targets.

  • Engage with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders to build strong relationships and gather market intelligence.

  • Collaborate with the European Portfolio Team to ensure alignment across the region.

  • Support the development and together with the Customer Technology Specialists deliver training materials for the sales force and external partners.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience as Product Manager or Category Marketing Manager within the agricultural or crop protection industry with focus on the fungicide segment.

  • A good networker with a passion and a keen interest to learn and contribute.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable plans and strategies forward.

  • Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

  • Fluency in both English and Danish or Swedish.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
