The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Medical Coding Specialist in our Health Information Systems division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Becoming the subject matter expert for our ‘360 Encompass’ autocoding solution and supporting the project manager in customer implementations.
- Provide end-user training and go-live support to understand our customers needs and ensure successful usage of our solutions.
- Discovery and Intake of requirements during customer implementation projects.
- User Engagement by providing remote and onsite presentations, product demonstrations and workshops to maximize the value of our products.
- Conducting regular calls with agreed stakeholders at the customer post implementation and provide additional adoption support.
- Report on adoption status and general health of the account to internal stakeholders.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Experience in the medical/coding field (ideally as a medical coder or nurse)
- Knowledge of the design and application of ICD-10-CM classification and DRGs.
- Experience in customer support and technical implementation.
- Proficiency in French, Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Current, valid driver’s License
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and/or relevant job-related experience
- Knowledge of the SNOMED CT terminology
Work location:
Hybrid: Working together with the team in our Diegem offices is required on a regular basis.
Travel: May include up to 30-50% domestic.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
