About the role

Account Executive

GTM · New York City

Full-time NYC-based OTE $250,000

Mutiny

A decade of leading GTM teams taught our founders the same lesson: dependencies are the biggest blocker to growth.

Too many great ideas die waiting for resources — design, content, web. The people closest to the customer know what to do, but they can’t move fast enough to do it.

We started Mutiny to fix that.

Mutiny is an AI-native agent that lets sellers and marketers move at the speed of their ideas, building high-quality, on-brand experiences that actually wow buyers.

This is a $100B+ market hiding in plain sight, and we think it’s one of the most interesting problems in tech right now.

How do you actually scale 1:1 marketing?

How do you eliminate dependencies across GTM teams?

How do you give every seller the power of a full marketing team?

We’re not just building a product — we’re building the system that makes this possible.

Why this role exists

Enterprise GTM is changing.

The best teams are moving away from generic outreach and toward highly personalized, high-quality experiences that actually resonate with buyers.

The problem is that most teams can’t execute this consistently. It’s too slow, too manual, and too dependent on other teams.

That’s where Mutiny comes in.

We need AEs who can help customers understand this shift, see what’s possible, and adopt a fundamentally better way of going to market.

What you’ll do

You’ll own the most important metric in the business: net-new revenue.

You’ll take deals from first conversation to close, working with B2B revenue teams to help them rethink how they break into and expand target accounts.

You’ll run strong discovery, understand real business problems, and show how Mutiny changes the way teams operate—not just what the product does.

You’ll also use Mutiny itself to run highly personalized outbound into your target accounts, showing rather than telling.

You’ll work closely with leadership to refine and scale the sales process, and bring insights from the field back into product and GTM strategy.

You’ll leave every deal, and every customer interaction, better than you found it.

You should apply if

You consistently hit or exceed quota. You know what it takes to close and you’ve done it repeatedly.

You run strong discovery. You don’t just pitch—you understand problems and tie solutions to real outcomes.

You’re outcome-oriented. You care about revenue, not activity.

You move with urgency. You keep deals moving and adapt quickly when things stall.

You’re a strong communicator. You can tell a clear, compelling story that resonates with senior stakeholders.

You thrive in fast-moving environments. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out as you go.

You’re a great teammate. You raise the bar for yourself and the people around you.

Why you shouldn’t apply

If you prefer highly structured environments with rigid playbooks, this isn’t it.

If you’re more focused on activity than outcomes, this role won’t be a fit.

If you’re not excited about using the product yourself to drive your pipeline, this probably isn’t the right environment.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS (mid-market or enterprise)
  • Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Strong discovery and storytelling skills
  • Ability to tie product value to real business outcomes
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure
  • Experience at a high-growth startup (Series A–D) is a plus
  • High standards for yourself and your team
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, New York City

What you’ll get out of it

  • Direct impact on revenue and company growth
  • The opportunity to sell a category-defining product
  • Exposure to how leading enterprise teams are evolving their GTM strategies
  • A strong platform to build your reputation as a top-performing AE
  • A high-performing, in-person team environment
  • A front-row seat to building a new category in GTM
