The Position

Finance Data Analytics & Insights Lead manages complex engagements in the area of Finance Analytics and Financial Planning, providing expert data-driven insights and strategic recommendations solutions to business leaders at all levels. This role requires deep analytical end-to-end expertise, a strong understanding of business strategy, and exceptional communication skills to support identifying high-impact opportunities and design sophisticated analytical solutions, l. In this role, you will mentor specialists, drive the adoption of advanced analytical techniques, and be instrumental in shaping future Finance Analytical frameworks.

Job Responsibilities

• Scope / (Content Leadership): Oversees multiple analysis projects and guides other specialists. Innovates and leads high-impact initiatives.

• Accountability/Problem Solving: Tackles highly complex business problems using data. Develops bespoke insights solutions  tailored to unique organizational challenges in alignment with approaches defined by our Group Data strategy.

• Stakeholder Management: Works closely with senior leadership to shape Analytical portfolios and solutions. Acts as a mentor to junior and associate specialists within the team.

• Impact/Strategy: Leads high-impact projects that significantly influence the overarching Digital Finance portfolio...

• Complexity / (Product Size): Manages enterprise-level datasets and highly complex analysis projects. Designs and implements advanced data visualization, financial planning, data-engineering and reporting frameworks to support the Digital Finance ambitions.

• Business / Technical ability: Acts as an expert in data visualization, planning, data engineering  and advanced analytical techniques for Finance. Possesses an in-depth understanding of business strategy and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Extensive experience leading complex engagements and providing strategic, data-driven recommendations to senior business leaders.

• Proven track record of establishing trusted and effective relationships with stakeholders with the ability to influence  the Digital Finance strategy.

• Demonstrated experience in overseeing multiple analysis/financial planning projects and guiding/mentoring team members.

Technical Skills

• 8+ years experience as technical, project or team lead in SAP BI/Analytics software (SAP/BW, Datasphere, SAC) design and development. 

• Strong capability in managing Finance related datasets based on deep understanding of the underlying systems & processes ( SAP/S4 modules : CO, FI with their Interfaces to SD and MM)

• Ability to design, implement, and lead advanced data reporting & financial planning  frameworks and approaches.

• Of Advantage is knowledge in IBM/Planning Analytics (former TM1), Snowflake  as well as experience with AI solution exploration, design and implementation

Additional Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to identify high-impact opportunities and influence decision-making at an organizational level.

• Deep understanding of business strategy and the application of data-driven decision-making to solve highly complex business problems.

• Strong leadership mindset with a dedication to driving the adoption of advanced techniques and shaping the practice's long-term methodologies.

• Of Advantage is: Proven experience with SCRUM, the role as product owner and experience in SAFe as well as knowledge of ITIL processes is of advantage as well as deep understanding of Data Mesh methodologies
