Four Seasons is seeking a highly skilled and driven On Site Lead – Design Services. The role is  Project based at the On Site Pre-Opening Office (Europe) or based in Geneva when not based at a project. The On Site Lead shall oversee the final phase of a prestigious hotel opening project. Based on-site in the pre-opening office, this role is at the forefront of design resolution, construction coordination, and handover management—bringing the Four Seasons vision to life in partnership with ownership and key stakeholders. 
About the Role
As the Design Services On Site Lead, you’ll take ownership of the Handover and Close-Out process between the Owner/Developer and Four Seasons. You will be the central point for managing all construction and design-related activities, ensuring the project meets Four Seasons standards, timelines, and expectations.
You will support decision-making and project resolution, drive collaboration across teams, and ensure that handover is seamless, efficient, and aligned with our brand’s commitment to excellence. With a deep understanding of construction and luxury hospitality development, you'll be the crucial bridge between development partners and the hotel’s operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Handover & Close-Out Leadership
  • Lead and manage the final transition of the hotel project from the Owner/Developer to Four Seasons.
  • Coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including Owner Representatives, Project Managers, Four Seasons Design Services and Operations teams.
  • Establish and manage detailed handover and close-out strategies, timelines, and deliverables.
Project Management & Communication
  • Maintain full oversight of snag list inspections, deficiency tracking, functional testing, and final documentation.
  • Drive effective communication, flagging and resolving project issues, and escalating when necessary.
  • Utilize Four Seasons' project management tools and systems for documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.
Operational Readiness Support
  • Partner closely with the Hotel General Manager, Portfolio Management, and Hotel Ops team to ensure readiness for opening.
  • Facilitate handover of systems, hardware, and spaces in line with brand expectations and operational needs.
  • Lead and support deep cleaning, sleep testing, and post-project evaluations.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in hotel project delivery, particularly in handover and close-out phases.
  • Strong background in design resolution, construction oversight, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments with diplomacy and confidence.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Experience working with high-end or luxury hospitality projects is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with formal control documentation, snagging, commissioning, and testing processes.
