Position Overview
The Senior Specialist, Communications Platforms is responsible for managing and optimizing Burlington's communications platforms to ensure effective and efficient communication across all channels. This role involves working closely with various departments to implement, maintain and improve communication tools and strategies that align with business goals.The ideal candidate will have experience with digital communications platforms, strong technical skills, and the ability to drive strategic communication initiatives that support stores, districts, and regions in driving the business.
The role collaborates closely with field leaders and is critical for improving operational execution of Burlington’s off-price business model at the store level. The right individual will have a strong technical background in managing and optimizing communication technologies, exceptional product management skills and the ability to develop and execute strategic communication initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency and management and be passionate about retail and store success.
A Day in the Life
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of communication platforms such as portal, breakroom boards, video conferencing tools, Zebra platform, etc.
Develop, write, and edit communication materials to keep associates informed about company news, updates, events, policies, procedures, and overall business execution.
Identify opportunities to enhance internal communications through advanced communication technologies.
Lead projects to improve communication workflow, cadence, and processes to support stores and field in driving the business.
Conduct surveys and gather insights to inform communication strategies. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and field, store feedback to improve communication strategies.
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and strategies.

You'll Come With
Education:
B.A. in Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Qualifications:
>3 years of managing digital communication platforms and tools.
Knowledge of retail and communication industry trends.
Strong technical skills and proficiency with communication technology such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Vimeo, Adobe InDesign.
Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
