What You Will Do
Project Engineer is a pivotal role reporting directly to the Branch Manager for the region. Based in Kuwait, you will be part of a vibrant and expanding team, driving the execution of Building Management Systems & ELV (Access Controls, CCTV, Active and Passive) Systems projects. In this role, you will be part of the project management team responsible for executing projects, leveraging your expertise in a collaborative and innovative environment. Additionally, you will contribute to pre-sales and estimation efforts, playing a crucial part in our overall success.
How You Will Do It
As a Project Engineer, you will oversee various aspects of project execution, including configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and validation of Control Systems and ELV Systems. Your responsibilities include:
Serving as the primary customer contact for project Scheduling, engineering support, troubleshooting, and fault clearance, ensuring outcomes are achieved with accountability, safety, and integrity.
Determining task priorities and scheduling measures effectively to optimize project outcomes, while focusing on impactful solutions and removing obstacles for customers.
Liaise with the customers and vendors / subcontractors to manage the installation of BMS and ELV Systems.
Performing BMS programming, Testing & Commissioning of MEP systems, including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and VAVs, through DDC/unitary controllers.
Managing third-party integrations using industry standard protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, MSTP, IP, KNX and OPC.
Configuring OT and IT networking relevant to ELV systems and developing BMS graphics and server configurations.
Collaborating with team members to ensure continuous improvement and embracing diverse perspectives, winning as one team through trust and collaboration.
In this role, you will also use your problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and maintain a proactive approach, ensuring the profitable growth of our installation business and fostering strong relationships with customers built on credibility and trust.
What We Look For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics & Instrumentation / Communication.
At least 5 years of proven experience executing installation projects for BMS & ELV Systems within the GCC region, preferably in Kuwait.
Strong team-oriented attitude and self-motivation with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive, independent mindset.
Knowledge of local Regulatory requirements.
Proficient in English. Arabic language will be a plus.
Commitment to deliver technically and financially optimal solutions.
Kuwait Society of Engineers accreditation.
Valid Driving License.
Transferable Visa under Article 18.
