Euronext Clearing- Categorie Protette (Legge 68/99) Systems solutions & network engineer

Within the IT & Cybersecurity department, we are seeking a skilled IT Senior Analyst, position System solutions & network engineer (Individual belonging to protected categories under Italian Law 68/99), with a strong background in systems, network and backup infrastructures, as well as cybersecurity.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and will provide technical expertise for the design, implementation, maintenance and review of secure IT environments.

Gross Annual Salary: 36.000 - 40.000 euro

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for network, systems, backup and security infrastructures, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, network devices, systems and backup solutions.
• Manage the lifecycle and obsolescence of infrastructure components, ensuring systems remain up to date and secure.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 security standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and group-level stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Perform risk analysis and contribute to the continuous improvement of security policies, procedures and controls.
• Document configurations, processes and troubleshooting steps to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Required skills and qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in network, systems, backup and security support roles.
• Knowledge of firewalls, switches and network architectures, with hands-on experience in products such as Cisco, Forcepoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper and Check Point.
• Practical experience with backup infrastructure, particularly Veeam products.
• Knowledge of virtualization, with hands-on experience in products such as VMware.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
• Familiarity with information security standards, especially ISO/IEC 27001.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
