Job Description

You will work on the Automotive OEM/APAD/APAF customers issues and related works in the lab. You will also work on the new color development and customer line service for Automotive OEM team including the work related to technical responsibility. You will need to ensure the lab work requested (LWR) has been done and response to the requesters within the agreed time. You will report directly to Technical Director – SEA Automotive OEM and Auto Parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for color development, product modification and technical service for all Automotive OEM customers.

  • You will conduct / involve the First Lot Control to make sure that any new or modified formula will be under good control.

  • You will visit Automotive OEM customers to do the line trial and solve the problems with/without COSP team depending on needs.

  • You will be responsible (manage, control and distribute) document/information which related to the PPG Products/Materials.

  • Partner in quality system activity e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, IATF16949.

  • The other assignments from supervisor are included in the responsibility for this position.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical or a similar subject or other field is also can be considered

  • You are required to have minimum of 0-3 years' experience in coatings manufactured business or related field.

  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English, Mandarin and Thai communication.

  • Basic knowledge of paint formulation and laboratory property testing, or familiarity with automotive paint property tests, will be an added advantage

  • Knowledge in Waterborne Coatings and Alloy Wheel coating is an added advantage
